Terms of Use
Effective date: 09-10-2026
These Terms of Use set out the rules for reaching and using KidInspector - the website, the web dashboard, the software, the services and the supporting materials that go with them.
KidInspector is operated by Capital Prime LLC, United States, 4300 Ridgecrest Dr SE, Rio Rancho, New Mexico 87124. Phone: +1 (561) 528 3779. Support email: [email protected].
Opening an account, buying a subscription, installing the app, entering the dashboard or using any KidInspector service means you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use KidInspector.
1. About KidInspector
KidInspector is a parental control and family device monitoring app for Android, Windows and macOS. It is built to help parents and other authorized users understand what happens on connected devices, through a web dashboard.
Subject to the platform, device settings, granted permissions and the plan in force, the dashboard may present reports on app usage, sites, device activity, location history, screenshots, blocked-content events, the call log, incoming SMS, contacts, installed apps and usage statistics.
What is available differs by platform, device model, operating system version, permissions, setup, browser support and the plan selected.
2. Who May Use KidInspector
Accounts must be opened and run by adults, or by users legally capable of entering into these Terms. Children should not open or run KidInspector monitoring accounts.
You may use the service only if you are legally able to accept these Terms and to use monitoring software where you live.
KidInspector is intended for:
- devices you own
- devices used by your minor child, where the law permits it
- household devices where monitoring is appropriate and has been properly explained
- devices you are legally entitled to monitor and have the required consent for
Making sure your use complies with every law, rule and regulation that applies to you, to the device and to the person using it is your responsibility.
3. Responsible Use
KidInspector has to be used responsibly, openly and only for permitted purposes.
You agree not to use it for covert surveillance, stalking, harassment, spying on another adult, tracking anyone without permission, or any unlawful purpose.
Where the law or the circumstances require it, you must tell the person using the device that monitoring is switched on. On a child's device we recommend explaining monitoring in age-appropriate terms and treating KidInspector as one part of clear household rules and safer digital habits.
Further guidance may be found in our Responsible Use Policy.
4. Your Responsibilities
How KidInspector is set up and used is on you.
By using it, you confirm that:
- you have the legal right to install or run KidInspector on the device
- you have obtained every permission or consent required
- you will not use it to infringe another person's privacy or legal rights
- you will observe the laws of your country, state or region
- the account and billing details you give are accurate
- you will keep your login details secure
- you will not give dashboard access to unauthorized people
- you will not try to bypass, misuse, reverse engineer or interfere with the service
You are also responsible for retaining access to the device where KidInspector is installed or connected. Capital Prime LLC has no physical access to your devices and cannot uninstall the app from a monitored device for you.
5. Prohibited Use
KidInspector must not be used to:
- monitor another adult without their knowledge and permission
- monitor a partner, spouse, roommate, employee or anyone else without proper authorization
- track a person or a device where you have no legal right to do so
- gather private information unlawfully
- stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate or control another person
- support domestic abuse, coercive control, blackmail or any other harmful purpose
- operate on a stolen, lost or unauthorized device
- conceal the purpose of monitoring where disclosure is required
- breach privacy, data protection, employment, criminal or other applicable laws
- copy, modify, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer or otherwise misuse the software
- interfere with the security, availability or normal operation of the service
You may not use, access, download or export KidInspector in breach of applicable export-control, sanctions or trade law. Confirming that your use is permitted where you are is your responsibility.
We may suspend or close your account if we believe KidInspector has been used in a prohibited, unsafe, abusive or unlawful way.
6. Account Registration and Security
Using KidInspector may require an account and certain details, such as an email address and payment information.
You agree to give accurate, current information and to keep your credentials confidential. Everything that happens under your account is your responsibility.
If you think someone has reached your account without authorization, write to [email protected] as soon as you can.
7. Device Setup and Permissions
KidInspector has to be set up on the device you intend to monitor, and the steps differ for Android, Windows and macOS.
You will need to download the app or installer, grant the permissions it asks for, adjust device settings, or follow platform-specific instructions. Certain features simply will not run until the necessary permissions are in place.
You are responsible for:
- confirming that the device is compatible
- following the setup instructions correctly
- granting the required permissions where appropriate
- keeping the device and its operating system supported and working
- explaining the monitoring to the device user where that is required
- uninstalling KidInspector once monitoring is no longer appropriate or permitted
Deleting an account does not remove the app from a monitored device. Removal means following the uninstall instructions for that platform.
8. Dashboard and Data
KidInspector shows the available activity reports in your web dashboard. Exactly what appears depends on the platform, feature availability, device permissions, setup, device activity, browser support and the plan in force.
We do not guarantee that every event, activity, website, location update, app, message, screenshot or device action will be captured, displayed or available at all times.
Reading the dashboard carefully, and using what it shows lawfully, reasonably and responsibly, is your responsibility.
9. Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing
KidInspector is sold through paid subscriptions and plans. Prices, billing periods, included features, device limits and plan conditions appear on the Pricing page and at checkout.
Buying a subscription authorizes us or our payment provider to charge the payment method you supply for the plan you chose, for any applicable taxes and, where relevant, for renewals.
Subscription terms, payment processing, renewal rules, accepted payment methods and billing details may vary with the plan and the payment provider.
Billing questions go to [email protected].
10. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation and refund rules live in the KidInspector Refund Policy.
To manage or cancel a subscription, write to [email protected].
Under the Refund Policy as it currently stands, a refund may be granted where the product does not work as promised or where you run into technical difficulties - but only if support cannot resolve the problem and the stated conditions are met. A problem has to be reported within 72 hours of purchase, and no refund is issued more than 14 days after purchase. Requests go to [email protected].
Refunds may be unavailable in situations beyond KidInspector's control, including but not limited to a customer who does not follow support instructions, refuses assistance, withholds the information required, simply changes their mind, never installs the software, has no access to the target device, runs an incompatible or incomplete operating system, or hits problems caused by other applications or by changes made to the device.
Additional conditions, including the troubleshooting information required and the one-refund limit, are described in the Refund Policy.
Where this section and the Refund Policy conflict, the Refund Policy prevails.
11. Demo Access
KidInspector may offer a free online demo dashboard so that users can see how activity reports, statistics, screenshots, location data and other supported device information are presented.
The demo is informational only. It may leave out features, plan options, platform differences and the conditions of a real account.
Demo access may be changed, limited or withdrawn at any time.
12. Privacy and Data Processing
Using KidInspector may involve processing personal information and device activity data.
Our Privacy Policy explains what may be collected, how it may be used, how it may be stored and what choices you may have.
You will find it here: Privacy Policy.
Making sure that any personal information you gather or view through KidInspector is processed lawfully, with any required notice or consent, is your responsibility.
13. Data Deletion and Account Deletion
You can delete your KidInspector account from your account settings, or write to [email protected] and ask us to delete it.
Deletion removes your access and deletes or de-identifies the related account data in line with our deletion procedure, except where information must be kept for legal, billing, security, fraud-prevention or compliance reasons. Deleting an account does not, however, remove the app from a monitored device. Capital Prime LLC has no physical access to that device and cannot uninstall the app there for you.
To stop monitoring altogether you have to uninstall KidInspector from the monitored device, following the instructions for Android, Windows or macOS.
14. Service Availability and Changes
We work to keep KidInspector available and functioning, but we do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available service.
The service may be unavailable or reduced because of maintenance, updates, technical faults, network problems, device settings, operating system changes, browser changes, permission changes, third-party services or events outside our control.
We may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of KidInspector, including features, dashboard sections, supported platforms, plans and documentation.
15. Feature Availability and Limitations
Features differ by platform and may depend on technical conditions we do not control: the device model, the operating system version, granted permissions, browser support, app updates, security settings, battery settings, connectivity and the plan selected.
Some features may be limited, delayed, unavailable or altered over time. We do not promise that a given feature will work on every device, in every app, in every browser or in every situation.
Before buying or installing, look through the relevant platform and feature availability information.
16. Intellectual Property
KidInspector - the website, the dashboard, the software, the design, text, graphics, logos, features and related materials - belongs to Capital Prime LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer or build derivative works from KidInspector unless we permit it in writing or the law allows it.
Third-party trademarks, names and logos remain with their respective owners.
17. Third-Party Services
KidInspector may depend on third-party services, platforms, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, operating systems, browsers and device permissions.
We are not answerable for third-party services, third-party websites, device manufacturers, operating system changes, browser changes, app updates or other external factors that may affect how KidInspector behaves.
Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account or your access if:
- you breach these Terms
- you use KidInspector in a prohibited or unlawful way
- your payment cannot be processed
- you supply false or misleading information
- your use creates a risk for another person, for KidInspector or for Capital Prime LLC
- the law, a payment provider, a platform, a court, a regulator or another authority requires it
You may stop using KidInspector whenever you wish. If you do, you remain responsible for uninstalling the app from any monitored device and for observing these Terms until the account is closed.
19. Disclaimers
KidInspector is supplied on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Capital Prime LLC gives no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, free of error, entirely secure, compatible with every device, or capable of capturing every kind of activity.
KidInspector does not replace parental judgment, family conversation, professional advice, legal advice or emergency services. How you interpret and act on what the dashboard shows is your responsibility.
Nothing in the service or on the website is legal advice. If you are unsure whether monitoring is permitted in your circumstances, consult a qualified lawyer.

Our total liability for any claim relating to KidInspector is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the period permitted by applicable law, unless the law imposes a different limit.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
21. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Capital Prime LLC together with its owners, employees, contractors, partners, providers and affiliates against any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost or expense arising out of:
- your use or misuse of KidInspector
- your breach of these Terms
- your breach of any law or of a third party's rights
- your monitoring of a device without proper authorization, notice or consent
- any data you gather, access, view, store or use through KidInspector
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico and by the applicable federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Disputes relating to these Terms or to KidInspector will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New Mexico, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. When they are, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page is revised.
Continuing to use KidInspector once a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and close your account.
